Office uninstalls itself?

Here is a strange problem. Two computers on out network,
running two different versions of the office suite (one is
97, the other XP). Sometime during the holiday weekend,
both uninstalled the entire office suite. At first I
assumed it must be a virus, but there are no viruses found
with NAV with the most recent virus defs. One of the
machines, however, is a Windows 95 laptop that does not
have email or any way to contract a virus. Office was
installed there on Friday and this morning, it was gone.
Same thing happened on a Windows XP workstation in the
office. Friday, everything is fine. This morning, Office
is gone. Has anyone else seen anything like this?
