Office up-date the download indicator gets to 40% and then stops.

Runnin g Office 2003, cable modem, plenty of ram, This problem has only
started in the past two weeks.
When I attempt to run Office Up-date, the download indicator only gets to
40% and then stops. I then get a try again command. What can I do to rectify
this situation?
