I am the registered owner of the installed copy of Office
2000 Pro on an Win2000 Pro system updated to sp4. When
trying to download MS Office sp-2 (using Explore 6 sp1)I'm
being directed to a page that informs me that I'm not
authorized to view the page using the "credentials" I
supplied. Several changes have occurred since the original
Office installation including Cable IP service, new email
address and a Zone Alarm PRO fire wall has been installed.
Other posts have pointed to registry corruption as a
possible cause of similar problems. Before I go down that
path, does anyone have an idea of what "credentials"
Office update uses to varify permission to access the
update site and how I would go about confirming the stored
info is up-to-date?
