office update error messages xp 2002

i cant run the update program it goes to 40 percent then bring up the page
saying what the problem may be also if i download a office update it goes to
do i except the licence agrement then after i click ok it gives me and error
do i want to send to microsoft i dont get any thing back it checks off
everything and nothing happens after that

If that doesn't help, try the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility, then
re-install Office, then try Office Update again.
