The Security Update for Outlook 2003 - KB945432 released on March 12, 2008
has caused all new appointments to fail when trying to sync up to the
Exchange Server 2003 SP2. They just disappear and are moved to the "Local
Failure" folder. This is the same problem that occured after installing
Office Service Pack 3. We had to completely uninstall Office 2003 and
reinstall back to SP2 to correct that problem and ignore downloading SP3. I
have found that I can uninstall this Security Update from the Control Panel
and ignore it from automatic updates. However, I don't like having to ignore
more and more of these updates. Does anyone know of a fix?
