I installed Office 2003 Pro from an administrative installation point I
created using the "msiexec /p update.msp /a pro11.msi shortfilenames=true"
etc. Microsoft Office Update says "Your Office products are up-to-date!".
However, Microsoft Update finds 16 updates missing so I'm not sure which
update engine to believe. Has anyone else had this problem before?
Whenever Office Update showed a new update, I would download the full-file
version and integrate it into the administrative installation point. Then I
would run setup.exe and answer Yes (when it said an updated version had been
detected). Then I would run Office Update again, and it would say all of my
Office proucts were up-to-date. That made me think the updates were working
but Microsoft Update has me second guessing since it thinks all of these are
missing... 962870, 958436, 956357, 951535, 954478, 953404, 921598, 948988,
955439, 953432, 950213, 945432, 945185, 907417, 943973, 943649. Any advice?
Thanks!
