Office Update scan fails at 40%; Errors on Page; Automation server can't create

object: I had this problem on one of my 150+ PCs and
found that Windows Script 5.6 fixed the trouble. KB -
323885. Everything I tried failed, even removing .Net
framework, reinstalling Office 2K and SPs, and KB -
304498. Some Windows Script component was corrupted. I
hope that this helps all of the postings I read looking
for assistance. I hadn't heard anything from Uncle Bill!
