office update site

I am running Office 2000 on WindowsME with IE6 as my browser.

I went to the http://office.microsoft.com/home/default.aspx
to try to get a security update and the site tells me that I am
using an "unsupported Web browser. This site works best with
IE5.1 or later..."

I ignored this and clicked on "downloads" and then on the Office
Security Update icon. The next window tells me "Sorry, the Office
Update site does not support Office for Mac".

Does this site ever work correctly???
