office update sp3

I have downloaded the update , but can't install. Install program asks for
Small Business version of Office XP, and I have only the Office XP disc.
Prompts for SBERET file and it doesn't exist on the original program disc
that I have.?? Tried the full file update with the same result.

Hi R.D.,

MS Office XP Small Business Edition was an OEM
product intended for sale only with new computers.
Check in Add/Remove Programs in the Windows Control
Panel to see what version/edition of Microsoft Office
is listed. The CD title would need to be a match to
that install title.

Yep, that's the problem, but the tech guy who set up my computer must have
installed from his disc (Office Small Business XP) and not the one from Dell
(Office XP), that I have. Now what? I hate to think that I will have to take
off the version of Office that I have and potentially have problems getting
re-installed. Any easy way to get the file I need to get this done?
