Office update

I run Office XP Pro which I updated from Office 97 Pro, and downloaded the
security patches from MS. During installation, I had to insert the program disk
and got an error "can't find PRORET.MIS".

I tried inserting the original Office 97 Pro disk, with the same result.

Anybody got an answer?

Problems such as these usually occur if you are using a
non-retail version of Office. Search for the problem in
the ms KB and there is a document describing how to tell
if you have a retail version or not.
