Office Update

I am trying to update Office XP Pro with SP1. After I scan
my system and start the install process is looks like it
is updating and after the process runs for sometime I get
the error message that the update was not successful and
to either repoort it to Microsoft or try again. I get no
error code. Also during the update it asks me to insert my
CD with Office Pro on it when it starts to looks for
something to do with Front page. I do this and it acts
like it is updating my system for a while till I get the
error. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! Dennis

Dennis, I was having a similar problem and solved it by
turning off my Viruscan program and reinstalling the
Office 2000 Disks. Actually I used the "repair" feature
but I think it does the same as reinstalling. Don't know
if this is the answer to your problem but you may want to
give it a try. Jim
