Hi,
I have a network of approx 20 pc,s all access the web via
same route. All have W2k and Office XP installed.
Problem 1.
On several machines when i run office update via the
website it get to 67% of checking for updates then bombs
out with "Error! Unable to check for updates on this
computer".
I've tried clearing IE cache, reinstalling office and
clearing windowsupdate folder.
I'm logged in as admin when trying this. Windows update
works fine
Problem 2.
More of a query really. When installing updates i log in
as admin. Run Windows Update, updates install and all is
well. But if i log in as another user and run
windowsupdate i'm told the updates need to be installed.
Is this cosmetic or do updates need to be run for each
user?
All advice greatfully received.
