Office update.

I have xp home and want office 2000 keeps crashing. I am
trying to install an update from the microsoft office
update page and it tells me to install my xp pro cd into
my cd-rom drive. I don't have pro, I have home and don't
know where to proceed. Please help

Hi Karen,

MS Windows has a Home edition. MS Office does not.
What is the name on the front of the MS Office CD?
It should match the Office listing in Add/Remove Programs
in the Windows control panel.
