Office Updates Fail on Office and MS update sites

I had trouble installing the updates from the MS site and then went to the
Office update site. They downloaded , but failed to install. It had to do
with Office not being activated, but it was. After research, I found a link
to delete the Office activation file(opa11). After reactivating all my
installed Office products, I tried again to install the updates. Needless to
say they failed again. I've searched the knowledge base, but can't find
anything that offers a solution. Any help would be appreciated.
