Office updates

Hi!
I would need to install new office updates 2003. For that reason my computer
scanned which updates I need to install and the computer has found that I
need to install Office Updates 2003 Service Pack 1. I don't understand how
will I install these updates when I have installed MS Windows XP Service Pack
2. Please, let me know.

Windows service packs are completely separate from Office service packs.
Theoretically, it doesn't matter whether you install Office 2003 SP1 before
or after you install Windows XP SP2. In reality, a few people have reported
problems installing Office 2003 SP1 after Windows XP SP2, but most people
don't have problems. So don't be afraid to install the update as long as you
have your Office 2003 CD to insert in the drive when the update needs it.
But don't even think about updating if you don't have your Office 2003 CD!
