I have Office 97 SBE and wish to upgrade. Can I upgrade
directly to Office 2003 or do I need to increnetally
upgrade through various versions (97-2000-2003)? Also do I
need to use SBE or can I use regular version of Office to
upgrade?

Hi J.Y.,

You can upgrade from Office 97 to Office 2003 without any
intermediate versions. You can choose any of the Office 2003
edition upgrade packages. You are not limited to the same
edition you had previously.

The chart in the link below gives a quick profile of the contents
of each Office 2003 edition as well.
