Office Upgrade Eligible???

Greetings! I cannot locate any documentation on the
version of Office (or possibly Works) that was installed
on my laptop when I purchased it. The install disks with
the VAIO don't allow me access the Microsoft info either.
I am trying to determine whether I am eligible for the
Office Standard Edition 2003 upgrade or not. I currently
have Windows 2000, Microsoft Word 2000, Excel 2000, and
Outlook. All of these installed in the original install
disks from Sony. Powerpoint was not part of the package.
The upgrade I have purchased (and am afraid to open until
I'm sure it'll work!) states that a previous version of
Works qualifies as a prerequisite. I just want to check
with the experts to be sure that's what I have!

Hi Paka,

With the Office 2000 family apps (Word and Excel 2000)
the upgrade edition (any one) of Office 2003 should
install fine.
