Office upgrade from 97 to 2002

I have Office 97 on my computer. I am buying a new
computers. Can I buy the 2002 XP upgrade or do I need
office 2000 to upgrade to 2002 XP.

Also, I have a computer upstairs that I use when not
working. I obviously don't use it at the same time as my
office computer. Can I install Office on both PC's or do
I have to buy two sets of software?

Office can only be installed on one PC and one notebook (unless it's an STE
liscence), providing they are used by the same person, not two PCs.
If your Office 97 is an OEM copy and came with the PC, you can't transfer it
to another PC to Upgrade, you will have to by the full version,.
