Office upgrade, keep old on 2nd PC?

I am running Office 2000 on an old PC. I just bought a new
PC, and now will have 2 PCs.
Can I buy an upgrade edition of Office XP and run it on
my new machine, while *still running* Office 2000 on my
old machine?
