Office Upgrade won't install

I just bought a new laptop that came with Works 9, which is a qualifying
product for my Office Upgrade 2007. I am trying to install this, and it is
saying I do not have a qualifying product. I have tried selecting the Works
folder on the C: drive, and also tried putting in the Works CD to be
recognized. Neither is working, and I don't know what else I should try.
This was not a problem on my previous computer.

Have you tried checking for updates? there was a problem, fixed by an
update.
I expect someone will post the url, if you cannot find it
