Office upgrade

My client has a copy of Office2003 pro upgrade, but cannot find his OfficeXP
disc.

I thought it might be an idea to go to ebay and buy an old copy of 2000 or
OfficeXP for cheap and then just upgrade.

Can anyone tell me if this upgrade (office2003 pro) will work with
"standard" or "Small Business" versions of Office2000/OfficeXP?

Hi Instauratio,

Any edition of Office 97 or higher is okay but also any
copy of MS Works (installed or on disk) which you may find
you already have.

If Office XP was a retail copy you may want to contact
Microsoft about replacement CDs as another option.
