Office Upgrade

I currently have installed and use Office 97 Professional
Edition. My current system is using Windows 98. I am
considering purchasing a new hardware system which would
run Windows XP. I have upgraded previous Office versions
using the same computer but how do I upgrade when I switch
computers as well. The upgrADE PRICE IS BETTER THAN BUYING
BRAND NEW BUT HOW DOES IT WORK WHEN I SWITCH HARDWARE?

This may seem too obvious but why not use yoour original
Office 97 disks to install it on the new PC and then buy
or download the upgrade to Office XP ? Of course your
pertinent xps files will have to be saved from your hard
drive(s) if you want ot continue using them with the new
xp version.

Calm down. Use the Office 97 disk to qualify for Office XP upgrade. An
added bonus... if you purchase Office XP (full or upgrade) between August 15
and November 30, you also qualify for a free Office System 2003 (well, you
pay shipping and handling).
