Office (v.X and 2004) and Network Based Home Folders and Mac OS X 10.2.x - 10.4.x

Hello,
Could someone clarify if Microsoft officially supports Office v.X or
2004 when used in conjunction with a per-user network based home
folder, be it mounted via AFP or SMB on Mac OS X client computers
running OS X 10.2.x thru 10.4.x

I have a vague recollection that it's not officially supported, but I
cannot find a knowledge base article that states this fact. Is there
such an article, if so, could someone post a link to it.

Thanks

They're "supported" :)

Whether they "work" is a very different matter :)

If you set them up carefully, making sure the users have not only unique
Network logins but unique UIDs, they'll be OK.

You should consult a qualified Mac system administrator, and I am not one of
those...

Cheers
