Hi all, can I have Office v.X and 2004 on the same machine? Different
folder, of course..

Kind regards,

Ji

Well, I have Office98, Office01, Office v.X, Office 2003 and Office 2004
on my machine, Bob!

I have them for testing and for compatibility (I have clients that can't
move to 04 because of 04's VBA Copy bug in XL, as well as a couple that
haven't moved to OSX yet).

Running EndNote in Word would be a good reason :-(
Nevertheless, you have to be careful with Entourage since it uses its
own version of the Notification app and the Database Daemon. I would not
use Entourage X and 2004 at the same time. If you do, you have to be
careful about killing the daemon for the oneyou don;t need and removing
it from the startup items as well.

I do too, but I was wondering why a "normal" user would want to.
