Office v.X word using Mac10.3.3 save document

Denis

The office word save or save as function has changed. To save a document I
can only save it under the general heading of document and cannot access
any of the folders in document. Once done I can work around it and
manually place the document in folder I want but that is very cumbersome.
Do I need to reinstall office X with the various updates or is there something
else? Help queries do not answer the question.

I think if you click on an arrow near the top of the Save As dialog, the
dialog will expand to show you your folder tree. A tad counter-intuitive...

Dayo's right - it's the arrow to the right of the filename textbox.

This has nothing to do with Word or Office - it's a straight OSX Save
dialog.
