office - version confusion

hi there,

which office is which version ?

there's office xp which is office 10

there's of course office 97

it's clear to me that office a.k.a. office xp is newer than office 97

but what office versions are there at all ? where do i find detailed
information about each version

Hi Benjamin,

The current version of MS Office is Office System 2003 (v11).
Starting with MS Office System 2003 there is no longer
an Office Developer edition. There are now Visual Studio
Tools for MS Office. The Microsoft Office Developers

which one is the newest ? afaik it's 2003
and what about the developer versions ?

i didn't find any information about a office 2003 developer edition>>
