Office Web Component Pivot Table ADA/508 Compliance (or Keyboard Shortcuts??)

N

Neil Meyer

Does anyone know if the OWC PivotTable is ADA section 508 compliant? If so,
how do I find a list of the keyboard shortcuts for the web component pivot
table? In other words, how does a visually impaired person negotiate a
pivot table displayed in a web page? Also, what's the best assistive
technology for the OWC pivot table.

Thank you.

I cannot answer the compliancy question. For the keyboard shortcuts, these
are available in the help toolbar button. You would need to actually run the
pivot table app to get the correct help, clicking the toolbar button in
design mode gives developer help documentation, not user help documentation

Alvin: Thank you. It appears as if one can manuever through the OWC Pivot
Table in IE using the keyboard shortcuts described in the Help Menu. I have
not yet tried to do so using assistive technology. If anyone else has that
experience, please share it if you can!
