I can be more specific. I have an intranet site using Sharepoint and Business
Portal. There is a queries list that should be exportable to excel. For most
users it is. All users are external, using their home computers by ssl
certificate connecting to the site. Some users have been prompted to instal
the Office Web Component when they try to export a query to excel. There is
one user who is using Windows 7 Home Premium and Office 2007 and unable to
download query files to excel. He's savy enough to tell me he tried to
install the OWC when promted, but he still cannot download. It's been an
ongoing problem for months. I plan to screen share with him soon to determine
his system setup, program files, etc. for a starting point. I'm new at this
and stumped. Ideas?

The download is easy enough to get find and get to, but do you expect that
once downloaded, OWC should work for someone using Windows 7 and Office 2007
by allowing them to download a query file from Sharepoint/Business Portal to
Excel?
Thank you.
