OFFICE WEB COMPONENTS (OWC11)

I have an old application that uses the office web components. It appears
that some windows updates interfere with the working of the components. I
recently updated a workstation with XP windows SP3. The office component
stopped working. I uninstalled and reinstalled but it still is not working.
Do you have any suggestions?
