I've read the others questions with this title but none apply to me.
My PC had to be replaced this week. I was told by the company that built my
new one that all data was OK and could be saved.
My old PC ran Windows XP Pro on service pack 2. My new one runs XP Home on
service pack 3.
I run two small businesses on this PC and I am a heavy user of Word &
Publisher. I downloaded Publisher 2007 trial version but none of my files
would open so I removed 2007 and loaded Office Pro 2003 from a legal disk I
have. Still none of my files open. Message is "Publisher cannot open file".
Word & Access do not work either. I am running Kaspersky Anti-Virus.
I am now desparate, with a deadline looming and customers to satisfy. Any
help would be appreciated.
