Office (Word) 2003 mail merge problem.

I am attempting to mail merge an address from my Outlook
contacts list to a letter in Word. When I get to the step
of selecting a recipient, I get the following
error: "Unable to obtain list of tables from the data
source." Does anyone have a solution for this error?

Start the merge from Outlook's tools > mailmerge option - see
