Office Word 2003 SP2

I get a pop up window titled Microsft visual Basic with "The macros in this
project are disabled. ......." when Word opens, 2 times and again when once
when I exit. Word came preinstalled on my Dell Dimension E310. I tried to
follow the help directions about macros but it didn't work and so I click
that box 3 times every time I use Word. I just looked at the Help, About
Microsoft Office to get the version, and looked in the Disabled Items button
but there is NOTHING listed as being disabled. I have also tried reinstalling
it.

What you need to look for is probably add-ins trying to run macros; note the
name of the "project," and that will give you a clue. See
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/Customization/CheckIfAddinsInstalled.htm. If you
will change your Macro Security setting to Medium, then you'll get a chance
to enable the macros. Also, if the add-ins are in the Word Startup folder,
they will be trusted (macros enabled) if you check "Trust all installed
templates and add-ins" on the Trusted Sources tab of Tools | Macro |
Security.
