Word 2007 is suddenly acting up.
I can open the program and can work in it and save my work.

BUT when I shut Word down I get a message telling me:
"Microsoft Office Word has stopped working
Check online for a solution and close program
Close program"

No solution online.
I've done a repair installations .....and the proplem remained.
I've uninstalled Office 2007 and re-installed it.....and the problem remained.

All other Office 2007 programs appear to working normally.

What can I do next to get Word back to normal??
Please help.

The most likely source of the problem is a damaged Normal.dotm
template or a bad add-in. Reinstallation doesn't replace either of
these, so it's usually useless.

Follow the steps under "If Word crashes as soon as it opens" in
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/AppErrors/ProbsOpeningWord.htm -- but note
that Word 2007 uses a different extension for the template, .dotm
instead of .dot. Despite the article's title, these steps will also
help to diagnose problems on closing as well as opening.

THANK YOU!
It turned out that renaming the normal.dotm file didn't fix it BUT deleting
the Word/Data entry in the registry did. Word is back to normal.
Thanks,
Marko
