Office word processing/small business problem

I bought a laptop with genuine XP professional installed and went to a tech
to buy a word processing program. I paid the tech for Office, but it won't
configure small business and I receive an error message that File SKUICA
cannot not be found. I can write in Word, but cannot re-open saved
documents. I went through weeks of following every possible Help
instruction, but nothing solved the problem. Naturally, the tech has left
town. What can I do? I am technically illiterate and just want to write,
save, edit and get on with it. Thank you.
