Office/Word XP problems 2nd post.....Please Reply

I have a user having a problem with Word XP. When he is
trying to type a document in outline form. It will do the
bullets okay if he does just one style but as he wants to
do more then that the tab key will not let him. It lets
him tab over but doesn't continue the outline.
This is what he would like it to do:

But the tab doesn't let him do that anymore. He said that
it has stopped working. He said that it started about 2
weeks ago. He's not aware of any formatting changes that
he made. He did go to the other computer that we have
here in the office that does XP also and that computer
works just fine.

My questions are: What would cause the change? How do I
fix it or can it be corrected?

On the AutoFormat As You Type tab of Tools | AutoCorrect Options, check the
box for "Set first and left indent with tabs and backspaces."
