Today my office programs, all of them, refused to start. Word offered
starting in safe mode and failed, then offered to repair itself which ended
with 'repair successful' message, but all of the office programs would not
start.
I went to control panel and add or remove programs and choose to repair
office. After "success" with repair, the same message.
Is there anything else I should try before I un- and re-install the whole
office?
How to make sure that all my setting, emails etc will be untouched by
re-installing the whole package?
I have Office XP Standard 10.0.6626.0.
I tried to run Windows without startups and disabled PC-cillin, no help.
Thanks in advance,
Peter
