Office X Access Privileges

I am setting up an image of OS X with Office X on it. IT will have
admin, teacher and student accounts on it. Office X only works for
accounts having admin access. It won't work for the teacher or student
accounts.

I have checked privileges and they are 777 for the Office folder and
individual apps. All users are part of the same group. But Appleworks
works just fine for everyone.

I need to know what adjustments need to be made before I give up and
remove Office

Thanks

THere shouldn't be a problem there. If all the files have 777 in the
Office folder, everything should be fine (not just the apps).

Nevertheless, I wouldn't have all the files with exec permissions.
Why not, un-install the file through the uninstalkler on the CD,
re-install the application through then installer, apply all the patches
and then make a backup.
This should allow you to start fresh without these eprmissions issues
you are seing.

You mean from the image or from the drive before starting over and
reinstalling it ?? I woudl definitively install it over :-\
It seems much safer to me.
