Office X cd key

My computer crashed and I erased the hard drive and installed my new
operating system. I still had my Office X cd but I couldn't find the
CD key to register it. Is there anything I can do to get that so I
can use it again or do I have to buy a whole new product?

You need to contact Microsoft Product Support Services to request a
new key. You will need proof of ownership.
