office X update 10.1.2 doesn´t update word

Hello,

I tried to update Office X 10.0 to 10.1.2 several times with the
updater from the MS website, but the updater doesn´t update the word
application (the other excel,powerpoint, entourage yes). So after
updating word crashes after starting, the other apps work fine, does
any body know a solution ?

Use "Remove Office" then apply updaters again.

"Remove Office." "Remove Office" is located in the Value Pack folder on the
Office X CD.

There is some confusion over what in Office gets updated. Check out the
Version page for details on how to check:

Be sure to run Repair Permissions after updating.
