Office X Upgrade

I have Office X installed on PowerBook G4 17". Entrouge says it is
version 10.1.4 but the rest of modules Word, Excel & Powerpoint say
their version is SR1.

Powerpoint does not display PowerPoint 97 documents properly and
Entrouge acts very funny with Exchange 5.5. e.g. I dont see the
Exchange address Book, I dont see some of Inbox folders but see some
others, I can not get my hotmail account details, my out mails go
through the outbox on my computer and I can not move them to the
Exchange outbox and many more.

The whole thing is gone mad, or may be its me or both.

So I tried installing version 10.1.2. It didn't install. Then tried 10.1.5
it installed but the versions displayed on none of the programs
changed.

Can someone tell me what I can do to make sure my Office is up-to-
date. And is there a Office installer that can figure out what I need and
do it automatically, like in Windows.

We have this info on the Entourage Help Page. Take some solace in the fact
that is a confusing mess.

Version Info for Entourage.

I suggest you use Remove Office (located in the Value Pack folder on the
Office X CD. You'll need your CD key when you install.). Then apply these
updates in this order:

Office 10.1.2
Office 10.1.4
Office 10.1.5

Let us know if you continue to have problems.

I uninstalled the Office X using the remove Office program. Then re-
installed it. Then I tried installing the 10.1.2 Update, but it did not
install. So I stopped installing any more updates.

So what do I do now ??
