On start up all office programs unexpectably quit apart from
entourage.
I've updated Office X up to version 10.1.5 and still they quit out.
I have also deleted office from my mac and re-installed it, but again
it still doesn't play.

Did you use Remove Office or just drag to trash? What version of the OS are
you running. Remove Office is more complete. It removes both preference
files and custom templates, so you should make a backup copy of the
preferences and templates in another location on the machine before running
the removal tool. See Files to Backup.

Office X CD.

Hi,

In addition to what Diane posted, this seems very typical of font
corruption on the hard drive. You shoudl use a font utility to check all
possible font location (Office can use all the official font locations
on the drive) for corruption.
If you don;t have any, you can try using the demo version of Font Doctor
to guide you.
