Office XP (2002), It's Media Content Disk, and Office 2003

Leer

Greetings,

I had Office XP (2002) installed on my computer. This version came with a
Media Content Disk.

I now have Office 2003 installed on my computer. This version does not come
with a Media Content Disk.

What benefits did the Office XP Media Content Disk provide to me?

Also, if these benefits are important can the Office XP Media Content Disk
provide useful benefits to Office 2003?

Thank you in advance for you help, insights, and comments.

The Office XP Media Content CD contains clipart and media files. If you want
to use clipart in your documents you might find the disk useful.

To use with Office 2003 Run Setup from the Media Content CD to install,
select run from my computer if you want to install the clips to your
computer so you will not need the CD

Leer,
The media content disk allowed you to have a collection of clips stored
locally or accessed locally. Office 2003 relies on the Microsoft Office
Online site for access to clip art found here:
http://office.microsoft.com/clipart/default.aspx?lc=en-us
saving space on your drive is one benefit, another is access to a wider
variety of clips.
