Office XP 2002 to 2003

Yes this is a weird query. However, anyone who contracts with the government
uses (at this moment) Office 2003. I have Office XP, but my components
(word, excel, etc), are 2002. Can I upgrade my Office XP 2002 to 2003? If
so, HOW? Without spending money...or not much.

You can upgrade, but you can't do it without spending money. And, you must
be able to find a copy of Office 2003. See if Amazon has any left.

Thanks, Tom. Was hoping I could upgrade at no cost. I did find one on
Amazon 199.98 after tax. Oh well. Can we say 'tax right-off"?

You may want to verify if you need to change and perhaps how anyone you have
a contract with can determine or cares which one you are using.

Office XP and Office 2003 are very similiar. File formats for Word, Excel
and {I recall} Access are identical. Unless you need one of the few features
added in Office 2003, the no cost way is to do nothing.
