Office XP Activation

I recently purchased Office 2003 PRO (oem complete version) and have installed it on my computer. My question is, that I previously purchased Office 2002 (XP) PRO (oem complete version) and paid for it. It was activated once on my computer. I no longer have a use for it, but did pay for it. I want to give it to a friend. Can he install and activate under his own name? Please Help?

My understanding is that OEM's are tied to the computer they were installed
on, and cannot be upgraded. That's why they are cheaper. I have read others
who indicate what you want to do is possible, so maybe one of them will
respond and explain how that is done.

Tom is correct - once an OEM licence is installed and activated, it is
forever tied to that system - it cannot be installed and activated on any
other system.
