Greetings,
I just purchased a new laptop with WinXP on it. My desktop computer (and my
husband's computer) both have Win2000 and Office 2000.
Although I have a brand new retail version of Office XP, I've been reluctant
to install it on the new laptop computer because I am concerned that I will
have problems if we try to exchange files from different versions of Office.
So, here're my questions:
1. What are the problems in using Office 2000 and Office XP (in terms of
file compatibility)
2. I understand that I can install Office XP on one desktop and one laptop
computer. Does anyone know how much additional licenses would cost (i.e. to
add another desktop computer, for example) and how one would go about
purchasing such a license?
Thank you.
