office xp and os 98, xp

I have 2 computers and office 97 and office xp.
The 1st computer os xp I loaded office xp and updated it.
Now is see I made a mistake and wanted to load office xp
on the 2nd computer os 98. So I removed office xp from
the 1st computer os xp and loaded it on the 2nd computer
98. Now I upgrade it and it said that I had uploaded it
already the error 1328. I am going to install office 97
on the 1st computer xp.
I now reloaded office xp back on the 1st computer and I
uploaded and it work ok. How do I get this to go on the
2nd computer?
How do I correct this?
