Downloading the service pak, stops and tells me its not allowed. Any reason?

Did not work, made no difference, I see at one point in the download it says
something about having you CD ready? Is it looking for the original install
CD??

Once an update is downloaded, a second try might not work. Is the update
listed in add/remove programs? If so, remove there, otherwise it's a
registry thing.
