Is Office XP Version 2002 compatible with Vista?

Can I but the upgrade version of Office 2007 Standard if I have Office XP

Yes but some features may not work as expected as Office XP is not
"supported" under Vista. One known problem is that Outlook will not retain
passwords.

You can use any version of Office XP EXCEPT Student and Teacher to upgrade
to any version of Office 2007.

See http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/products/FX101754511033.aspx for
upgrade qualifications.

By the way, Microsoft is currently offering a sale on Office Small Business,
retail or upgrade versions, and I found Amazon is selling the upgrade for
$149.99 with free standard shipping which beats MS pricing on their website.
See http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/suites/FX101674111033.aspx to see if
Small Business version has what you need. Looks like all other versions
cost more even with a lot less currently. This contains more than Standard
and is currently priced less.

Amazon's URL for this is: (Watch for URL wrap)
