Office XP crashes Millennium

I installed Office XP on top of Office 2000. Since I did
this (along with all SPs and security patches), Millennium
now crashes (locks up) every time I open IE 6, Outlook, etc.
Help! (Or is this just plain, bad MS coding that doesn't
work with its own products?)
