Office XP excel stops responding

We recently built a pc with XP and Office XP. The problem is that Excel will intermittenly hang. But later on in the day, it will work normally. The files will open if saved on the local pc, but occasionally will hang when opened from the server. We are using Netware 5.0 servers

Can anybody help??

If you don't get the answer you are looking for here then you might try one of the Excel newsgroups since that's where the Excel gurus tend to hang out.

This ng is more for Office issues that non-application specific.
